It’s November 1st and many of you on social media are sharing all month why you are thankful.
After having a really tough day yesterday, today I am thankful for all of the Halloween’s our family and friends shared. Halloween is not my favorite holiday, it’s stressful, expensive, a lot of work for 30 minutes of actual Trick or Treating. I am thankful for all my friends and neighbors for always making it the best day. I am thankful that I was able to attend Halloween parties and parades at school. To be honest I would complain, like many parents, that I didn’t want to go. I would go because it made my kids so happy. I did it for them. I always did it for them. I am thankful for all of the photos I took to embrace what was the best day of the year for Payton and Parker, aside from Christmas. So, today I am thankful I didn’t say “no” to any of it. As a parent you sacrifice so much for your children’s happiness. I am thankful for all of my sacrifices and if I could do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing.
