Kim Nork, more importantly known as Parker's Mama, is President and Founding Member of Parker's Army. She has over 15+ years experience with Non-Profit Organizations. Kim held the position of President for her Sorority, Alpha Sigma Tau at William Paterson University where she attained a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Design. With the outpouring of support from friends, family and especially the community of Manahawkin, the goal of Parker's Army is to give back. We want to give back to everyone who has given us and Parker so much. The organizations, the coaches, the teammates, the families. We want to give back. Developing a foundation that not only supports our community but upholds Parker's legacy is our mission.

Along with her volunteering, Kim is the owner of Kim Nork Designs, a full service design studio.

Vice President - Sean Griffin

Sean Griffin was brought into our lives by Parker, like so many others. We met Sean out on the Southern AYF football fields when Parker was in 1st Grade, his first year of flag football. Many know him as "Coach Griff" on and off the field. Coach Griff has become more than a coach - he was Parker's biggest fan, and his son, Liam, one of Parker's best buddies. They played football and Lacrosse together throughout the past few years. They also shared the love of hockey, going to as many Devil's games as they could squeeze in. Sometimes it was even a soccer game. Since Parker's diagnosis and passing, Sean has been his biggest advocate. He and his family were hit hard at the loss of Parker. They too have a thriving 10 year old son and sprung into action to do anything they could to help us, our daughter and Parker's legacy. He is responsible for all of the #powerofparker Tee shirts (1st and 2nd rounds) and car decals, countless hours of fundraising for Parker's Army 1st Golf Outing and more. He is living proof of the power of Parker and his effect on everyone he's met.

Sean sits on the Executive Board of Southern AYF Football as Football Commissioner. When not volunteering as a football or lacrosse coach, he is Chief Petty Officer with the US Coast Guard.

Secretary - Patricia Pollard

Patty Pollard, aka Aunt Patty, is Parker's Godmother and friend of Kim's since Kindergarten. Patty has always been an integral part of Parker's life, even if they didn't live close by. We would all go to Hershey Park every year, spend weekends together, birthdays and some holidays. After Parker's passing, Patty and her family couldn't believe the outpouring of support by our family, friends and community. Her husband, Eric, already working in Manahawkin and Long Beach Island since Hurricane Sandy, knew it was time to make the move. She left her job at Travelers Insurance of almost 18 years, packed up her kids and husband, her house and will now reside across the street from the Norks. Her children, Lily (9) and Aiden (6) will be starting school in the Stafford School district in the fall. There they will meet all of Parker's friends and teachers and can develop special relationships keeping his memory alive. Patty misses him dearly, always having a very loving and special relationship with Parker. Every chance she could get she would steal a kiss or a hug from him. Her goal is to contribute to Parker's Army and bring all of the kindness Parker had for everyone and give back to the community.

Treasurer - Rich Stracensky

Rich, aka Pop, is Parker's grandfather, Kim's father. Him and his wife Carol, aka Gram live close by in Beach Haven. They have been such a huge part of Parker's life since the day he was born. They attended every birthday, witnessed every milestone, every concert, awards ceremony, football game, hockey game, lacrosse game, and Pop was even known to show up at a few practices too. They have never been apart from Parker and his happy little life. They spent most summers with him while Payton was at swim team or LIT. He loved being at their house on the bay, looking for sea glass, swimming in the bay, hanging out in the hot tub, tubing or fishing on the Double Play.

Rich brings extensive experience to Parker's Army. Having served on the Executive Board for the Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club for over 10 years, most of those years as Treasurer. He is retired from corporate accounting at Merck for over 30 years. His goal is to set up a strong and successful foundation for Parker's legacy to continue to support and give back to such a wonderful community.

Sergeant at Arms - Robert Gonnella

Robert Gonnella, our long time neighbor and biggest fan of Parker sits on the Executive Board of Parker's Army as Sergeant at Arms. Rob always had some choice nicknames when it came to Parker, those will have to remain censored. He loved Parker like the son he never had and always told him to remember "big old Rob" when he was playing for the NHL because he "knew him when". Him and Parker had a wonderful relationship - they played hockey together out in the street, they watched movies together and we had tons of fun as families that spent holidays, vacations, dinners and just about any occasion together.

Robert is retired from the NJ Department of Corrections after 25 years.
