This is my mom, aka Gram. Today is her birthday. For some reason this photo struck an emotional cord with me. This photo is a perfect representation of Parker's essence. Of his personality and how his facial expressions were always so animated. He was always so happy. He loved Gram. Lucky for us she lives close. So close that we spend an awful lot of time with her and Pop. They are a huge part of our world. Gram was his biggest fan, at every football, hockey, LAX game. At every concert, awards ceremony and event. This photo was from 2 years ago when we were out celebrating her birthday. Unfortunately we are away this year. We won't be there to celebrate with her. Another change for our family. Our lives have changed so much already. I am struggling with the changes that have occurred thus far and they will continue forever. We have to continually adapt, adjust. I know he is smiling down on you today, Gram. He would want you to be happy today.
