As I start my day, this day that marks 6 weeks since my baby left this earth, I am grateful for times like these that I can smile because of him. I can smile because it has been near impossible to do such a natural thing. Parker has brought more joy and love and smiles into my life that everything just seems dark. On this day 2 years ago, I remember this happening like it was yesterday. Payton and I were laughing so hard over his sheer oblivion (which was quite often). I used to call him my space cadet and joke that not only was he blonde but also Polish. This was one of many blonde/Polish moments he had. Thank you, my sweet boy, for bringing a smile to my heart this dreary morning.
