Today I am thankful for our family and the impromptu road trips we did for the little time our schedules allowed. 3 years ago we woke up the kids, told them to get dressed, were going to Washington DC. Even if it was only for a couple days, I am so very thankful for having done those last minute trips. You never know when it will be your last.
