Day 6: Today was a day for the books. Parker was feeling good, had some of his favorite people visit, received lots of cards from friends, family and from many he's never even met. The HS hockey team showed up at our doorstep for him. Everyone is pulling for this kid. He's got the universe on his side for sure.
Today was also the opening night of Payton's 6th grade play Aladdin. She has be rehearsing for months and wasn't sure if we were going to be out of the hospital in time to see her perform at all. I was heartbroken at even the thought of missing it - luckily God had his own plan and I couldn't be more proud of her. She had the most beautiful smile on that stage tonight. It was a fantastic performance by all.
