This kid loved football. 4 years ago was his first Southern AYF combine. I remember watching him, always behind my camera lens and thinking he was so happy and in his element. He was right in the middle of what he did best. That smile would lead to hundreds more out on the field. My favorite was seeing his smile through his helmet.
This was the beginning of football for us, meeting our football family, some we had already known and 4 years of Sunday's at the fields. I would give anything to just have one more of those days. Bud, your dad is keeping your legacy alive and your light shining bright. Best of luck this season to the Southern AYF Cadets and the rest of the organization.
